life update

and i'm sitting here

way to late on a monday night

at the kitchen table

with warm peppermint tea.

and a smile.

Faithful Father has flipped the page to next.

i'm headed back to

Raising Hope Ranch

as the educational director.

big wording, i think so too.

i'll explain my job description more

as time goes on.

so second week in february,

off i toodle in my lil white jetta

to Gentry, Arkansas

for now

it's only for six months

but perhaps possibly longer.

only time will tell.

life is a wonky mixture.

i can't dissect it.

somethings are best left

to marinate in faith.

so i sip another peppermint taste

and smile

and sigh another prayer of surrender.
